From Sacramento
- Take Highway 50 East (approximately 30 miles) to Shingle Springs/Ponderosa Road/ Mother Lode Exit (Exit 37)
- Go left across Hwy 50 and turn right on North Shingle Road toward Lotus
- Drive appoximately 4.5 miles, bear left and follow Lotus Road
- Approximately 3.5 miles on Lotus Road turn left on Luneman Road (first cross-road and Sutter Mill School is on the left)
- Bear left and follow Luneman Road (and El Dorado County Farm Trails signs and arrows) for approximately 2 miles; turn right on Hidden Lake Drive and go for 0.3 miles
- Turn right on Lower Lake Road. The first driveway on the right is 1435 Lower Lake Road (Lotus Bonsai Nursery & Gardens)
From Placerville
- Go west on Hwy 50
- Take Greenstone Road exit and turn right towards Green Valley Road; then
turn left on Green Valley Road until you hit Lotus Road
- Turn right on Lotus Road and follow the directions above.
From Auburn
- Take Hwy 49 east to Coloma
- Turn right on Lotus Road (after crossing the American River).
- Turn right on Luneman Road and follow the directions above.
